Sjavarbarinn (e. The Sea Bar) is a new and lively restaurant, accurately located right by the Reykjavik harbor. Sjavarbarinn focuses on offering only the freshest fish and seafood available at any time. The restaurant is bright, spacious and seats 50 guests at a time.
Sjavarbarinn offers both a buffet and a traditional menu for both lunch and dinner. If you choose the buffet you can eat as much as you please for a modest 1500 Isk for lunch and 2800 for dinner. The buffet has received raving reviews and it well worth a try.
If, for any reason, you are just not a buffet kind-of-person then check out the traditional menus that have a amazing selection of dishes, from home-style to gourmet. There is also menu with simple fun items for the kids. You won’t have to bring the big wallet to eat at Sjavarbarinn as all menu items are fairly priced and offer extremely good value.
